The Love Outreach Clothing Center was established to help individuals and families facing difficult circumstances by providing quality clothing, professional attire, and essential items free of charge or at minimal cost.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Clothing Center became a vital community resource for families throughout Bogalusa and surrounding areas. Operating from our South Columbia Street location, every available space within the facility was utilized to meet the growing needs of the community.

Our mission extended beyond simply distributing clothing. We sought to restore dignity, confidence, and hope to those facing hardship.

Through our Dress for Success initiative, individuals participating in recovery programs, workforce development training, and employment preparation were provided professional attire to help them present themselves with confidence when seeking employment and rebuilding their lives.

The Clothing Center also served families experiencing loss during the pandemic by providing suits, dresses, and appropriate attire for funeral services and family gatherings during times of grief.

Over the years, thousands of articles of clothing have been distributed to men, women, and children throughout our service area. What may appear to be a simple gift of clothing often becomes an opportunity to encourage, support, and remind individuals that they are valued and loved.

We believe true community transformation occurs when practical assistance is combined with compassion, dignity, and hope.
