Food Distribution
EMERGENCY FOOD DISTRIBUTION OUTREACH
Feeding Families. Strengthening Communities. Restoring Hope.
For more than four decades, Apostle Dr. Vincent Price, Prophet Dr. Pabler L. Price, and their ministry team have been committed to serving individuals and families facing hardship. That commitment became especially evident during the COVID-19 pandemic when communities across the nation faced unprecedented challenges.
As businesses closed, jobs were lost, and families struggled to meet basic needs, Love Outreach Community Social Service responded by launching an expanded emergency food distribution initiative designed to provide hope and practical assistance during a time of crisis.
What began as a local effort quickly grew into a regional outreach operation. The ministry transformed its facilities into food distribution centers and mobilized volunteers, churches, community leaders, and partners to meet the increasing demand for food assistance.
For more than a year, food deliveries arrived weekly, often utilizing multiple truckloads of food and supplies. Through these coordinated efforts, thousands of families received essential groceries, fresh produce, household items, and emergency assistance.
The outreach extended across more than thirteen cities throughout Louisiana and Mississippi and partnered with approximately eighteen churches and community organizations to ensure resources reached those most in need.
As the demand continued to increase, the ministry expanded from its original South Columbia Street location into a larger facility on Highway 21 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. This expansion allowed volunteers to receive, organize, store, and distribute significantly larger quantities of food and supplies to families throughout the region.
During the height of the pandemic, church services were temporarily moved outdoors to accommodate the growing distribution efforts. The facility itself became a warehouse of hope, serving as a central hub for food distribution, community support, volunteer coordination, and emergency response.
More than food was distributed.
Encouragement was shared.
Relationships were strengthened.
Communities were united.
Hope was restored.
The Emergency Food Distribution Outreach remains one of the most significant examples of our commitment to serving people where they are and responding to community needs with faith, compassion, and action.
Our Mission:
To provide practical assistance, restore hope, strengthen families, and demonstrate God's love through service to those facing crisis, hardship, and uncertainty.
"Faith in Action. Compassion with Purpose. Hope for Every Family."
