                Our Story
"Whom the Son Set Free,
Is Free Indeed"

John's gospel

34 Jesus replied, “You are slaves of sin, every one of you.

35 And slaves do not have rights, but the Son has every right there is!

36 So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free—

37 (Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham!) And, yet some of you are trying to kill me because my message does not find a home within your hearts.

38 I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father.”

From Addiction and Incarceration to Community Transformation

For many, prison is the end of the story.

For Vincent Price, it was only the beginning.

Sentenced to prison as a young man after addiction and poor decisions led him down a destructive path, Vincent found himself facing a choice that would determine the rest of his life. Behind prison walls, surrounded by the same influences that had nearly destroyed him, he made a declaration that would change everything:

"This is over."

What followed was an extraordinary journey of faith, redemption, perseverance, and purpose.

In Whom the Son Sets Free Is Free Indeed, Vincent Price shares the deeply personal story of overcoming addiction, rebuilding his life, marrying the love of his life after incarceration, and dedicating more than forty-five years to helping others find hope, healing, and restoration.

From serving as Head Chaplain of the New Orleans Rescue Mission to operating homeless shelters, recovery programs, community outreach initiatives, food distribution efforts, and workforce development programs, Vincent's story is a testament to what can happen when faith is put into action.
